Bristol architect Will Lakin will be giving homeowners and neighbourhood groups FREE pre-booked 30 minute design consultations in art galleries across the South West.

Anyone can register for a consultation at one of the galleries. Alternatively, in exchange for a minimum donation of £40 to Shelter, you can upgrade your session to an hour-long consultation at your home between October and Christmas.

RIBA South West Director Jon Watkins: 'The RIBA exists to champion better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and our members. For a good cause, Architect in the Gallery offers access to architects for members of the public to talk about improvements to their home or community, and who can demonstrate the added value of using an architect to improve a property, or if starting a project from scratch.
